Today we answer the question: "how do I feel God's Presence?" and uncover the sweet mystery of how constant awareness of the Holy Spirit can push our spiritual growth easily.

DAY 7 – BUILDING CONSTANT AWARENESS ABOUT THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
At this time, it’s needless to say that the Holy Spirit is ever present and around anytime, anywhere. However, the challenge is whether we always and at all times have an intentional awareness and conscious of this very presence.
Catch yourself: How many times in the day, do you remember and pay attention to the Holy Spirit and actually treat Him like He is really there? Of course deep down you know He is, but since life gets busy, our attention is divided, and we end up totally forgetting about Him and completely ignoring His Presence moving through life. So it’s hard for us to exhibit Christ-like character outside the church compound because we forget about the One who was given into our hearts to produce that character in us.
Many people ask “how can I feel the presence of God?” God is ever present, but are you attentive to His Presence? The Presence of God is in attention: Anytime you set your attention to His Presence, you’ll feel Him; and when that attention is not there, you’ll feel like He is absent. Don’t wait to see a physical sign to prove His Presence; know it by faith that He is ever present and ready to be engaged.
2 Corinthians 5:6-8 encourages us to make a willful choice to be present with the Lord. It’s possible to be physically busy but spiritually present with the Lord. It takes deliberate will and wisdom to run a day with its normal tasks while staying attentive to His Presence. Can you drive but be internally aware of Him? Can you be in office but engaging Him in your heart, working out but also working in? Borrow the wisdom of the duck – it looks calm on top but beneath the water, its feet are paddling hard. Learn to be internally paddling through engagement with the Holy Spirit, but physically you look like nothing is going on.
KEY THOUGHT IN SUMMARY: IF YOU’RE ATTENTIVE TO HIM, YOU’LL KNOW HIS PRESENCE; BECAUSE YOU KNOW HIS PRESENCE, YOU’LL ENGAGE HIM; BECAUSE YOU ENGAGE HIM, HE WILL HELP YOU BEHAVE LIKE JESUS AT ALL TIMES AND THAT’S SPIRITUAL GROWTH!
Remember this formula: Attention = Presence = Engagement = Spiritual Growth!
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your constant presence with me. I’m sorry that life takes me too fast and I forget all about Your Presence. But today, I thank You for the grace to keep me aware of You regardless the moment of the day. May my ear always hear you, my eye always see you and my heart always feel you; I love You Lord and I know You are leading me closer to You day by day, all for your glory, in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
