DAY 14 – HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE AND ACTUALLY GROW
For the last days, we discovered that spiritual growth stands on two pillars: daily intimacy with the Holy Spirit and daily fellowship with the Word of God. But today we answer the practical question: How do we study the Bible in a way that actually changes us?
Many people struggle with Bible study—not because they don’t love God, but because they read and don’t understand, lose consistency, or feel pressured to finish reading plans.
Here are three mistakes to avoid:
1. Don’t read to finish.
The goal is not completion; the goal is transformation.
2. Don’t read mainly to preach or teach others.
Read first for your own growth. Ministry should overflow from what God is doing inside you.
3. Don’t only read for application.
Before asking, “What should I do?” ask, “What is God showing me?”
Instead, whenever you read scripture, look for these three things:
• Find the Heart of the Father – What does this reveal about God?
• Find Jesus – How does this point me to Christ?
• Find the Holy Spirit – What does this show me about His work and relationship with me?
TODAY’S KEY THOUGHT:
Don’t rush through the Bible. Even a few verses understood deeply can transform your life more than many chapters read quickly.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word. Teach me to read not for pressure or performance, but for transformation. Reveal Your heart to me, reveal Jesus to me, and teach me to walk with the Holy Spirit daily. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The 14 days are ending—but the journey is not. From here, let’s keep growing through daily intimacy with the Holy Spirit and daily fellowship with the Word.
